This service combines a full body muscle stretch with massage. The entire session is implemented on the massage table. Approximately 50% of time is spent on actively stretching the muscles, and the other 50% is reserved for massage. Combining these two modalities improves flexibility, mobility, and performance.

Lomi Lomi is an indigenous Hawaiian healing massage. With Temple Style lomi lomi the therapist primarily uses her forearms as her tools, integrating dance-like movements designed to confuse the thinking mind. Cupping is a therapy in which either glass, plastic, or silicone cups are applied to the skin and a suction is created. This suction draws fluid subcutaneously into the cupped area. Your body treats the area like an injury and sends more blood and interstitial fluid to bring oxygen and nutrients to the cells. This helps jumpstart the natural healing process. You may experience redness in the cupped areas that lasts from several hours to several days.
This is an add-on service with Aimee.

The benefits of Gua Sha are similar to Cupping. With Gua Sha, a smooth-edged jade tool is used to to gently scrape areas of your body where there is inflammation or stagnant qi (energy) to help improve circulation and promote healing. You may experience redness in the scraped areas that lasts from several hours to several days.
This is an add-on service with Aimee.

For a good part of my life I worked in the Graphic Arts field. When I experienced a personal loss many years ago, I took a good look at my life, and decided to change gears and follow a path that gave me a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. I left my job and went back to school to study massage therapy. I have now been a certified and licensed massage therapist for 12+ years. The thing I like most is that I get to help people reduce the strain and stress from everyday life.
I have a true passion for my chosen career. For me, a great reward is a returning client because a returning client translates into a satisfied customer. To ensure satisfaction, I take great care in listening to my clients and customizing sessions that focus on their particular needs.
I have worn many hats in my life and each experience has played a part in the person I have become. I am a positive person who believes good energy begets more good energy. I am a person who is passionate and compassionate. I am a person who desires knowledge and who strives to continually educate herself. The more I learn, the better I become at helping people reduce the tension and strain in their lives.
I worked in an office setting for most of my career before deciding I needed a change. Upon finding the Massage Therapy program at Elgin Community College, I fell in love immediately, knowing this was my calling.
